The CMOA is an organisation with the object of furthering the interests, both educational and industrial, of Career Medical Officers.

We are a young Association but we have made significant progress in just one year:

We have had official and unofficial representation on various committees, conferences and medical groups that impact on CMO practice

We have a quarterly publication and two Websites

We are developing a Continuing Medical Education Program for CMOs and this should be available before the end of 1998.

In the next year we will concentrate on industrial issues. To this end we will be having an Industrial Convention on Saturday 14th November at Rozelle Hospital - Details in the next CMO Bulletin - please keep the date free and attend. You will be made most welcome! Contact details are below.

We are offering free membership to medical students, and reduced membership costs to Interns ($25.00) and RMO1, RMO2 ($50.00)
