* the annual salary for CMO Grade 2 Year 1 is equivalent to the Senior Registrar's rate listed in the NSW RMOs Award.

The NSW CMO Award has a unique "Penalty, Holiday payment and Overtime barrier" that means NSW CMOs do not receive their full penalty, overtime and public holiday loadings when employed above Grade 2 Year 1. So, if you are employed as a Grade 2 CMO or higher, click here if you want to find out how much money this barrier is denying you each hour you work in the public system.

ASCMO continues to request that this "barrier" be removed.
